Brooklyn Art Space has been a longtime supporter of Gowanus Open Studios, this year it will take place over the weekend of October 17th - 19th. Over 300 artist studios and arts venues will be open to the public from 12PM - 6PM on Saturday and Sunday - including Brooklyn Art Space & Trestle Gallery.

For one weekend each year, artists working in the former factories, warehouses and studio buildings in Gowanus invite the public to visit their studios, see their work, and talk about their process. Last year 230 artists welcomed over 5,000 visitors into their studios.

GOS 2014 is presented by ArtsGowanus, a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization made up of artists and arts organizations working to support each other, strengthen connections to our community, and to ensure the Gowanus neighborhood continues to be a thriving and creative community of art-makers and art-appreciators.
